Benefits of the new PlayStation 5.
It’s hard to improve upon greatness, but that didn’t stop Sony from trying with the new PlayStation 5 console — and succeeding. With an ultra-high-speed solid-state drive (SSD), the new PS5 console delivers incredibly fast load times. In addition, the PS5’s integrated input/output (I/O) allows game designers to pull data from the SSD faster than ever. This gives game designers more options to create increasingly immersive worlds.
PS5 comes in two different versions: standard or Digital Edition. As the name suggests, the PS5 Digital Edition plays only digital games. Although it features the same technological advances as the standard PS5 (which can play physical games), the Digital Edition currently costs less than the PS5 standard console.
The tech enhancements don’t stop with the console. Sony has created a line of fantastic accessories, such as the DualSense wireless PS5 controller. With more support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, this controller will make you feel as though you are right in the middle of the action. Other accessories include a headset, charging station, 3D camera and media remote.
